eBRIDGE ePortal Reaches Milestone of 500,000 Active Transactions

eBRIDGE Software announced today that its powerful ePortal platform continues to lead in the SMB integration market byreaching the milestone of 500,000 active and concurrent transactions in just eight short months.

With its unique model of hundreds of pre-configured connections and the only ubiquitous end-to-end integration solution, the eBridge ePortal continues to be a leader of technology integration in the SMB space. Using next generation .NET components the ePortal has been updated with a host of additional features to process documents faster and keep up with the demand of the thousands of transactions crossing the eBRIDGE ePortal each day.Transactions average well under a minute to traverse ePortal while undergoing transformations, validation and translations into a vast array of standards and unique document types.

ePortal, powered by Microsoft's BizTalk Server 2006 R2, connects a business to its customers, external business systems (Webstore, CRM, WMS, etc.) and EDI trading partners to allow for both fully integrated and online management of business transactions using a web-friendly interface.

"As the eBRIDGE ePortal grows, we've been listening to our customers and have adopted the functionality and capabilities they have requested," said Alex Stewart, VP Operations of eBRIDGE. "With the ePortal architecture it is easy to enhance the ePortal so that all users benefit from any one specific customer requirement."

With an architectural design based on the Web 2.0 revolution, ePortal provides the ability to manage transactions in a user-friendly format from anywhere in the world that accesses the internet. Web-friendly interface forms are used to enter data for manual transactions, which are then sent tobusiness partners or integrated into the ERP/Accounting system.

"Our customers need to focus on their primary business, so having the eBRIDGE ePortal solution take care of the integration of their various external business channels just makes sense," said Mr. Stewart. "With the second generation of ePortal enhancements combined with the next generation of capabilities from Web stores, CRM systems and on-line business tools the ePortal is set to provide all the capabilities of traditional Value-added Network providers."
