EDI for MS Dynamics GP, AX, SL and NAV

One Comprehensive EDI Integration Solution

ePortal provides one solution for the exchange of business data by managing connectivity, data transformation, storage, and EDI compliancy functions, relieving your organization of the need to purchase and maintain multiple components.

ePortal with eBridge Integration Solution

With an eBridge EDI Integration Solution working in conjunction with ePortal, Microsoft Dynamics is connected to your EDI document exchange process to streamline the e-commerce flow. An eBridge EDI Integration Solution eliminates manual and duplicate data entry to prevent costly errors and save your company time and money. Data from inbound EDI documents, such as orders, are automatically moved and integrated to Microsoft Dynamics. In turn, this accurate information is then used to automatically create outbound EDI documents, such as ASNs and invoices.

Benefits of Integration

Eliminate manual data entry

Prevent costly errors

Allow more efficient use of staff

Timely processing of documents

Minimize chargebacks

Faster order-delivery-payment cycle

Faster access to information

More efficient shipping, receiving and cargo tracking.

In addition, the Integration Solution creates historical transaction records of all inbound and outbound transactions, providing an auditable record track that is compliant with more stringent government regulations. The flexible and soft-coded XML technology employed by the ePortal supports numerous EDI formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMMS, etc.), thereby resulting in an independent and flexible Integration Solution that effectively integrates with the financial system while meeting a company’s unique internal business process.

ePortal negates the need to install and maintain on- premise communication and translator software, as it handles communication responsibilities through the established and secure channel with the Trading Partner (VAN, AS2, etc.) along with EDI compliancy and acknowledgement functions. E-mail notifications are sent upon acceptance of documents or when an outbound document has not been acknowledged within a specified time. ePortal stores documents that have not passed EDI compliancy checking. The non-compliant error(s) for these documents can be viewed to enable the document to be corrected “on-the-fly” using web forms, and then reprocessed. Archiving of documents is also offered with ePortal, providing less clutter on the screen and allowing for easier navigation.

Benefits of ePortal

Platform for document exchange and tracking

Unlimited transactions with no transaction fees

Low annual subscription fee per trading partner

Connectivity, compliancy, acknowledgement, data transformation, document routing

View and print documents in user-friendly or raw formats

Web forms for data entry and “on-the-fly” corrections/modifications

Reprocessing capability

Upgrades to new EDI versions automatically reflected in maps

Large volume document storage

Storage and viewing of non-compliant business documents

E-mail notification of received documents

3PL EDI Integration for Microsoft Dynamics GP / SL

A lot of companies utilize a third party logistics company (3PL) to manage their warehouse, inventory and shipping. Outsourcing your warehouse through a 3PL is a great way to allow your company to focus on its core business while leaving the logistics to the experts.

A 3PL does cause somewhat of a paperwork nightmare. Orders, inventory levels and shipment details all need to be sent back and forth between the logistics firm and their client. An EDI integration solution can alleviate all the headaches and stress of manually entering data and email and faxing information back and forth. Information is extracted from your MS Dynamics system, converted to EDI and then sent directly to your 3PL. The return documents are then picked up by eBRIDGE and integrated into your ERP. Here are examples of some of the documents that are sent via EDI between a 3PL and its client:

• 940 Warehouse Shipping Order
• 945 Warehouse Shipping Advice
• 944 Warehouse Stock Transfer Receipt Advice
• 846 Stock Status
• 947 Inventory Adjustment

A 3PL EDI Integration Solution by eBRIDGE Software is available for MS Dynamics GP and MS Dynamics SL.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Jay

MS Dynamics GP and SL Integration with UPS, FedEx and DHL

The eBridge Courier Service Integration Solution connects your accounting system with your courier service to streamline your shipping process.

The eBridge Courier Service Integration Solution supports UPS®, FedEx® and DHL® services. The eBridge Courier Service Solution connects with the web service sites of these couriers without needing to interface with the courier shipping software.

By working in conjunction with the eBridge ASN Module, item and shipping details are automatically pulled from the accounting system, relieving the user from having to manually enter such information. The software is then used to pack the items into the packages and apply additional shipping information, such as billing options, service type, package type, and package dimensions.

After the items have been packed and the shipping information applied, a pickup request is sent to the courier. With the generation of the shipment, the courier returns confirmation and rate information, the package tracking ID, and a shipping label. The package tracking ID can then be automatically imported into the financial system. Shipping labels can be printed either from the eBridge application or the courier software.

The eBridge Courier Service Integration Solution even allows you to switch from UPS to FedEx to DHL without the purchase of additional software. With the Courier Service Integration Solution from eBRIDGE, information exchange is faster and more reliable, relieving the workload for your staff and simplifying the shipping process.

Benefits
• Connect accounting system with courier service
• Streamline data flow
• Eliminate manual data entry process
• Prevent data input errors
• Free up human resources
• Faster delivery time
• Save time and money

eBRIDGE ePortal Connects with Amazon

eBRIDGE Software, the leader in accounting software integration solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of its ePortal service for Amazon. The launch of this service delivers on the eBRIDGE commitment to continually advance ecommerce integration solutions for the SMB market.

Through eBRIDGE’s web-based ePortal service, we connect a company’s Amazon Storefront to their accounting or ERP system. Customer order information from Amazon is automatically integrated between your Amazon store and your accounting software. This completely eliminates any need for manual data entry.

HandStands was one of the first companies to connect Amazon and Microsoft Dynamics GP using this eBRIDGE technology. The decision has paid dividends for HandStands in their ability to market with eBay, Amazon and their traditional trading partners.

“We were happy to hear eBRIDGE had a solution for us,” stated Jade Hansen of HandStands. “Because its ePortal service constantly communicates with our Amazon store and allows for the instant integration of sales data to our Dynamics GP system, we’re saving valuable time with administrative tasks.”

The release of the ePortal service for Amazon delivers a flexible solution for customers using Amazon. This release follows the launch of the ePortal service for PayPal in August and eBay earlier this year. These launches support eBRIDGE’s commitment to provide complete and streamlined integration for the most popular ecommerce providers.

“The ability to now exchange and integrate order information from Amazon is another example of the powerful capability of the ePortal,” stated Colin Brown, President and CEO of eBRIDGE Software. “Through our commitment to continually advance our eBRIDGE ecommerce solutions, we align ourselves with our customers to solve their biggest integration challenges.”
